The distances from the main points of interest of the city (central square, market, sea front) are short and from the many picturesque steps of the city one reaches the port in just ten minutes! For those who want something more than the organized and crystal clear beaches in the city (Rapsani, Kalamitsa) the famous beaches of Kavala's coast line (Batis, Toska, Palio, etc) start at 10' by car and continue to the west.
