Avliotes is a village located in the northwest part of Corfu, approximately 41km from the city center. It embodies the traditional charm of Corfu with its narrow alleyways and streets leading to the central square. Nestled in a mountainous area, Avliotes offers a genuine immersion in nature. The village boasts two splendid churches, Saint Taxiarchis and Panagia Odigitria. The latter commands a majestic view of the village and provides a breathtaking panorama of the mountains. Situated in close proximity to Avliotes are some of the island's most renowned beaches: Agios Stefanos (4.3km), Loggas (1.6km), Porto Timoni (8.9km), and Canal d’Amour (4.2km). For those seeking livelier destinations, Sidari, Arrilas, or Afionas are recommended. To witness the island's most awe-inspiring sunset, a visit to Loggas and the 7th Heaven café is a must. Within Avliotes, there are three mini markets, a butcher shop, and a bakery/pastry shop. Additionally, there is a tavern for dining. Visitors arriving by car can find free public parking spaces along the main road above the apartment or in the central square of the village. Access to Avliotes from Corfu town is available with green line either by bus route A8, which goes directly to Avliotes, or by bus route A1 to Agios Stefanos (make it clear to the driver that you intend to reach Agios Stefanos in Avliotes). The A8 route takes you straight to the village, while with A1, you'll need to alight at the entrance of Avliotes village.
