If you are in need of a spring-autumn escape, we welcome you to “MARFAIA”- Villa by the Sea! You will enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay in a country house, by the sea. ideal for couples, families, or a group of friends. The amazing, unobstructed sea view, the blue sky, the colours of the sunrise/sunset, the sound of the sea and the idyllic location of the estate between the greenery of the hill and the coastline will offer you an unforgettable holiday. The host occupies an apartment in the basement, with independent access and facilities, and is available for any assistance the guests may require. The name Marfaia is derived from the Location and the Mythology, MARE (Latin word of Sea), and Afaia (Ancient Greek Deity) (The house has one bathroom on the first floor and one WC on the ground floor. There's an exterior shower, too.
Pleasant personality, polite by nature, mother of two adult daughters. Interests include e-learning seminars (history, civilizations, improvements), healthy living, physical exercise, swimming, gardening etc.
Visiting the Island of Aegina, a picturesque destination, near Piraeus, 70 min by ferry. There is direct connection between Airport and Piraeus the train station being close to the Port Gate (number 8) from where the Ferries to Aegina are leaving. The island, being the first Capital of Free Greece (1830…), offers sightseeing, beaches, Archaeological sites, Monastery-Cathedral (Saint Nektarios ), Museums. Suggest you to visit – archaeological museum of Aegina Temple of Aphaia, Cathedral of Saint Nectarios, Palea Hora with Medieval small churches. From the island is easy to enjoy day trips to other small islands, Agistri, Moni, Poros and other islands in the Saronic Bay.
