Welcome to Margo Traditional House. Built in 1938, its design influenced by late 18th century neoclassical Symian architecture, the house features intricate word work, marble fireplaces and original period furniture. It is located in the island’s main village Chorio, nestled just above Kali Strata - the most scenic and historical street of the island. The house is situated just off the main square, with direct access to the street (no steps) with shops, restaurants and the bus stop a short walk away. While Yialos is known for its hustle and bustle, Chorio offers a peaceful neighborhood atmosphere with charming alleyways filled with shops and friendly locals, providing an authentic, immersive experience of Symi Island.
Hello! We are Filippos and Renee. While we live on the beautiful island of Rhodes, Symi has always held a special place in our hearts. It’s not just our getaway—it’s our second home, deeply tied to our family roots and inspired by our love for the island’s charm, natural beauty, and welcoming spirit. Margo House was born out of this connection. Designed with care, thoughtfulness, and lots of love, it’s a space we hope feels just as special to you as it does to us.
