The guest house is located in the village of Kapesovo in Zagori, 43 km north of Ioannina and 1100m above sea level. The natural landscape is mountainous with little vegetation and rock masses to dominate. When, in 1785, in Kapesovo, Ali Pasha visited his friend Ioannoutsso Karamessini, lord and protector of Zagori, he was lodged in his mansion, located in the famous Mousafir Ondas which was the planned living room of the manor. Venetian mirrors, gold-embroidered curtains and the "starry sky" painted on the carved wooden ceiling so impressed Ali that he would have copied them when he built his serai at Ioannina's castle.
Today, Moussafir Ondas in Kapesovo is a restored mansion from 1836 with carved ceilings and colorful mezzanines, exquisite luxury and modern amenities, welcoming friends and guests. It has 7 rooms, including 5 quadruple and 2 doubles. The rooms are comfortable and offer modest luxury to the guest.

The Kapesovites were famous hagiographers, with their own hagiographic program with more Byzantine and less Western influences. An example of their technique is the church of St. Nicholas built in 1793 and listed as a historic monument of preserved cultural heritage. The hagiography that stands out is the Tower of Babel and are preserved the frescoes of the guardian of the church, Giannoutsos Karamessini.
The village festival takes place on July 20th.
The Pasxalios School is one of the most imposing buildings in Zagori. It was built in 1861. It houses rare treasures, such as one of the three original forms of the Charta of Greece / Rigas Charta and a dictionary of 1627.
Kapesovo is very close to Vikos Gorge (canyon) and the view of some parts of the village is magnificent, as well as the famous Staircase of Vradeto which took 20 years to unite Kapesovo to Vradeto with 1100 steps and 2 small stone bridges.
Just 10 km from Kapesovo is one of the most beautiful bridges in Epirus and a typical example of the art of craftsmen of the time. This is the historic stone bridge of Kokkori or Noutsos, built in 1750.
