Welcome to Nama beach house! Nama in Greek is a sacred and purifying water and that is exactly what this place does for the soul. It is a beautiful, tasty and fully equipped 2-storey summer house that has been just renovated, with a large shaded garden that leads to a small private beach and a balcony with magnifiscent view of the Mirtóo sea. The house and its surroundings are relaxing and revigorating, with plenty of nooks to grab a book under the shadow of the tree or take a nap feeling the summer breeze on your face.
Hello! My name is Eve, I 'm an Architect and interior designer, also a keen traveller and lover of beautifully designed spaces. This is the summer house of my childhood and has been a family and friends property since then. Kids have played under the trees and families gathered at starry nights around tables loaded with yummy tastes our mothers amptly provided. All plants and materials have been lovingly placed and looked after by my father and uncles. The love and friendship that has been generated through the years fills the space with positive energy. This is the legacy Nama has to share and help you unfold, relax and connect with the essence of Greek summer.
In front of the house there is an almost private beach (the one you see in the photos) with two umbrellas and 4 sunloungers for you. At the garden and under the tree shadow there are 2 more wooden sunloungers and a dining area. There is a tavern nearby (https://goo.gl/maps/icZmNcSu14SMgmVe8) with really decent food choices and fresh fish. There is a large and quiet pebbled beach 5 min north called Tesrfos Beach. The star of the area is the Moulas Beach (https://goo.gl/maps/892x51rBVU1xqRmCA), a 5 minutes walk, although you should expect some crowd there during August. For Kryoneri Beach you have to use your car, it has a couple of beach bars and is good for socialising and mingling with the locals. Paralio Astros is a great choice for having a drink, with plenty of bars and cafe's at 22km north. Provisions and super markets available at Tyros, 8 km south. And lastly, do visit Leonidion a picturesque and lively town at 26km south and also a Rock Climbing destination for people from all over the world!
