Our five studios are family owned and run. They have private balcony areas with views of the sea and mountains. It is a quiet space and friendly atmosphere. They are comfortably decorated with neutral colours suiting everyone. The beds are ample size, with lots of pillows for extra comfort. there is a table inside the studio to eat or work/write. It is also well located with walking distance of the beach. Vathi beach, which is our local beach at 1km away has been marked by the European commission as Excellent bathing water. It is has everything you need, private and quiet places or sun loungers and coffee. Amenities near by (mini market and bakery which also serves fresh coffee) and the studios have the benefit of our family run restaurant which is 100m walk away. Hannover restaurant has been listed in the Alpha guide for all restaurants in Greece. Greek European and Fusion food, a real surprise, incredible quality food in Vathi. June and the summer months are open daily. (winter months weekends only). We have a cleaning service, rooms cleaned and bed linen and towels changed every 4 days. There is also a washing machine onsite for your own washing needs.

My husband and I live in Vathi, I am English (Londoner) I have been living here with him for 16 years now. We are both easy to meet and talk to, we like to be helpful to our guests and will both happily engage in conversations. We live near to the studios, We have two children. I love the life here, a complete change from London. But the pace is good, and the variety of things that we do. Including managing Nefeli studios. Working and running the Hannover restaurant. OLIVE PICKING! this happens from the months of Nov/Dec through to Feb/Mar. If anybody is interested in staying with us at Nefeli Studios during the winter months you are very welcome to come along and see/be involved in the olive picking. You can also then take some delicious organic Olive oil home with you! It's a lovely experience which is very rewarding when you get to eat the fresh oil that you yourself have collected the olives for.....

Vathi means 'deep' and we are a village in a valley. the village is spread along the valley leading down to the beach. Vathi beach is a lovely unspoilt horseshoe shape. it has the benefit of two fresh water rivers running into it meaning the sea is always clean. Nefeli studios is just 1km away from the beach, you can see the sea from your balcony. Vathi is situated equally in the middle of two towns. The picturesque port of Gythio, which has the small island 'Kranai' where mythology has it that Helen of Troy and Paris spent their first night together. Aeropoli is the traditional beautiful town at the beginning of Mani. With stone buildings, Mani towers and cobbled streets. It has some lovely shops, restaurants bars and coffee shops.
