Olive Groove House is situated in Kallianeika, 20 km South of the beautiful city of Kalamata, southern Peloponnesos in the Western Mani-region, also called the Tuscan-region of Greece. Kallianeika is at 3,5 km from the seaside with nice beaches and the little harbour of Kitries. At the other side you see the majestic Taygetosmountain. You will enjoy the view on the olive groves, the bay of Messinia, the mountains. The nearest town with shops, bars and restaurants is the tiny village of Kampos. The house is our own main residence with two separated apartments of 50 m2 each, appropriate for couples, for solo-adventurers who take off for hiking, for families with children who want to have a good time at the sea. Each apartment has its own entrance, a kitchen and living room, a separate bedroom and a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. We offer WiFi in all the house, but we warn you that internetconnection in this small village is often very slow and defective. A television is available, we try to offer you a large connection as soon as possible. Guests can enjoy our beautiful garden and use the outer area with its bbq-space (with oven and grill) and sitting-area.

Sea is nearby: at 3 km is the beautiful beach of Kitries, at 5 km is Santova, from there on you can follow all the coast-road right to Kalamata with several beaches to enjoy. From Kallianeika you can start your excursions in the Southern Peloponnese. At 14 km is the picturesque village of Kardamyli with nice beaches in summer and which is an excellent base to get off for hiking in the Taygetos-region (especially in spring and autumn). More to the south you enter the rough Mani-region with the wonderful bay of Oitylo, charming Areopolis, exceptional Diros-caves and cape Taenaron (the most south on the European continent). Or you can choose to get west to Messinia with the archaeological site of ancient Messini, with historical Pylos and the golden Voidikoilia-beach, the small cities of Methoni and Koroni. East is Sparta and Mystras that can be reached either by the mountain way either by the new motorway. Both roads are breathtaking.
