"Orchomenos" apartment is 1 of the 4 available apartments to rent in Levidi Arcadian Apartments. The bedroom layout can be organised into 2 king size beds or 4 single beds. Cook your own food in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy romantic dinners in the dining area next to the fireplace. The apartment is provided with a central heating system. There is free private parking for up to 10 cars. The village square, which is the centre of Levidi, is only a 2-minute walk away. Around the square there are many facilities such as restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies, butcher shops and traditional bakeries.
♦♦We are Katherine and Antonios. We love connecting with new people and sharing stories. Antonios, being local, is a very proud Arcadian. He grew up in Levidi in an old farmhouse, where the apartment building stands today. He can help you with any information needed regarding the village, its history or nearby villages. Katherine is Greek, but grew up in Germany. She fully enjoys life in the village. Knitting, reading and learning about new things are a few of her hobbies.
♦♦The apartment is in a quiet yet central neighbourhood of Levidi. The town of Levidi is 175 km from Athens and 25 km from Tripoli. It is situated on the northeastern slope of the Mount Mainalon, at about 850 m elevation. There are many excursions one can take from Levidi, such as hiking trails on Mount Mainalon, visiting the ancient city of Orchomenos, the beautiful Holy Convent of Kernitsa and the ski resort of Ostrakina on Mount Mainalon. Levidi was the site of several battles during the Greek War of Independence in 1821 from the Ottoman Empire.
