As a host, I am entirely new to this experience. However, I am filled with enthusiasm at the thought of welcoming someone from faraway, unfamiliar places who wishes to explore my home, my village, and my land. I feel truly happy when I meet people from different cultures because I know they all have something to share with me, just as I have something to offer them. I want my guests to feel comfortable and at ease. I always listen to them attentively, including their advice and suggestions. I deeply value the moments, stories, and dreams we share together, as I believe these connections are genuine and meaningful. Most of my travels are professional and take place within Greece. However, I regularly take trips around my island, Crete, which offers so many beautiful areas to explore, not just in summer but during winter too. Abroad, I have visited Denmark, specifically the city of Randers. You are most welcome to stay, and I would be delighted to host you!

The traditional Pagona's House is located in a very quiet village, in Mouri, which belongs to Apokorwnas, in Chania. It is a family home where it was named by my beloved grandmother. Always faithful to her memory, I renovated her home with love, care, and respect in 2005, and just recently, in 2019 we decided to change the outdoor area of the house. In 2019 the outdoor area offered the yard and the garden with 2 trees, mulberry trees but also various trees and herbs. During 2022 there was a mass renovation of the outdoor area. There is a big yard where a beautiful tree can be found, a mulberry tree, that covers the whole yard with the green leaves. The traditional stone built house is just 500 meters from the famous Kournas Lake, where you have the opportunity to admire the unique scenery of the lake and nature that will truly reward you if you visit it for the first time, as it rewards all visitors coming to our area for years. . *Ideal for families, couples, and groups of friends. *Free WiFi, A/C. *Free parking space. *Ground floor and traditional ontas. *The traditional ontas has a slightly lower ceiling, adding to its authentic charm. *Living room with sofa bed. *1 bedroom with a double bed. *1 bathroom with shower. *Courtyard with hammock and outdoor furniture. *Stairs access only. *Baby and child friendly.

Mouri village is one of the many villages of the Municipality of Apokorwnas in the Prefecture of Chania Crete. Mouri is the nearest village to Kournas Lake. Many taverns, cafes and shops can be found there. Very close by car you can visit many villages and see their way of life. The village of Kavros is just 3km away from the village and the residence: -Supermarket -Gas station -Bakery -Pharmacy -Cafes -Taverns Georgioupolis is about 4.5 km from Mouri. It has plenty of shops and a beautiful beach. We are located: 49 km from the International Airport of Chania 45 km to the center of Chania and the Municipal Market 35 km from the port of Souda 22 km from the town of Rethymno It is worth visiting the alleys of the old town of Rethymno. You can either take a daily getaway on the sandy beaches of Georgioupolis, Kavros and Episkopi, or visit the Argyroupoli Springs with the natural running waters located in the village of Argyroupoli just 13km from Mouri, relax below the fountains, the plane trees and enjoy your meal at one of the many taverns.
