The Plan B project is the upshot of a personal vision, planning and a lot of work put into it since 1996, tracing its conceptual origins back to our teenage years, when we always anxiously looked for last-minute accommodations on Mykonos, spent the nights in our sleeping bags laid out on rooftops, and enjoyed ourselves on this island that so many had heard so much about but so few actually really knew. Right from the start, we decided to differentiate our product from the impersonal anonymity of hotels; for this reason, each one of the residences we built on this typically Aegean rocky landscape on the cliff overlooking the bay of Kalo Livadi beach is unique and homey. Here, amidst the Doric architectural lines of the buildings and the winding paths of a garden filled with fragrant herbs and buds of the Greek flora, guests can experience the utmost relaxation and rebirth brought about by a re-awakening of their senses triggered by the four primordial elements of Greek nature: Light, Air, Stone and Sea.

The villas The Plan B holiday residences are built on two levels atop a cliff overlooking the Aegean. Guests can enjoy compelling panoramic vistas of the serene gulf, relishing in the calm and relaxing landscape. The villas are situated in Kalo Livadi, in the southern part of the island, 10 km from the center, 11 km from the port and 10 km from the airport. The villas were designed by the architectural firm blp Architects, based on the concept of a small village or a traditional settlement, where the residents, stemming from all around the world, can get acquainted with each other if they so wish, without compromising their independence and privacy. Each villa comprises 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms as well as a living room with a fireplace, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room and bedrooms are spacious and rich in natural lighting, offering a breathtaking view to the sea. The large verandas outside each villa provide the ideal setting for morning coffee or breakfast overlooking the sunrise or an afternoon cocktail with a view of the sunset, as well as lunch in the cool shade of the pergolas or dinner under the moonlight.

Kalo Livadi Beach The beach with the fine golden sand unfolding before one’s eyes and the shifting shades of blue in the crystal waters as the day progresses is by general consensus one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Only 5 minutes away by foot, the nearby beach of Kato Livadi offers the opportunity to swim or sunbathe, but also ample activities for the more athletically inclined guests, such as beach volleyball, jet skiing and water skiing. The beach is so readily accessible that Plan B guests can visit it at all times of day: early in the morning when the sea is absolutely tranquil; around midday when the sun is high and the temperature even higher; or at the end of the day, when the crowds start to disperse and the few ones still there may enjoy the beach all to themselves, so to speak. Beachfront restaurants and bars are available to cater to your culinary and entertainment needs with high-quality food and drinks, music and dancing, while the neighbouring equally beautiful beaches of Elia, Kalafatis, Agia Anna and Lia, complement the palette of your summer exploits with diving, sailing, horseback riding and wind surfing activities.
