Our house is located 5 Km from Agia Galini and 2 Km from the beautiful beach of Agios Georgios (which is much nicer than the beach of Agia Galini). Surrounded only by olive trees and with a breathtaking panoramic view, this solar powered house will not cease to surprise you! Kitchen and living room are not separated by any wall and this creates an open and comfortable environment. We grow our food in an organic way. We have 4 chickens and 2 goats, which provide us with fresh milk and eggs every day. So don't waste your time in crowded resorts and boring apartments. Come stay at our home, meet our charming goats and experience something new!
My name is Federico and my wife is Martanoemi. When we rent the house, we move below the house. We have an independent entrance so you will have total privacy. You will have exclusive use of the ground floor (living room and kitchen), first floor (bedroom and bathroom), terraces and garden. Important note: during the months of July and August, sometimes Crete has intense heatwaves with hot air blowing from the Sahara desert. So, starting from 2022, we have an air conditioning unit in the bedroom but, because we are solar powered, the temperature must be set at 27 degrees Celsius or above. The bedroom also has a fan on the ceiling.
The best thing about our place is that there is nobody else. There are no other houses next to ours. This is what makes our place unique and special. You will not hear cars passing by or people making noise. And during the night, when you turn off the lights, it's completely dark (there are no street lights). This means that you will see the stars like in no other place. In order for you to enjoy this spectacle, we put an extra mattress on the terrace.
