Pigi, Rethymnon The villa is located in the village of Pigi, offering the great advantage of having all essential daily amenities within walking distance. In the village, you’ll find several taverns, a supermarket, a bakery, a butcher, a traditional café, and a pharmacy. Additionally, there is a playground, as well as basketball and soccer courts, all very close to the villa. The nearest sandy beach is only 4 km away, while the picturesque old town of Rethymnon is just a 10-minute drive or bus ride. The distance from both Cretan airports (Heraklion and Chania) is 76 km, approximately a 1-hour drive. Pigi has regular bus connections to the city of Rethymnon, as well as to nearby areas like Platanias and Adelianos Kampos (2–5 km away), where you can enjoy organized beaches, nightclubs, supermarkets, and restaurants. If you’d like to explore Crete, we’ll be happy to suggest a variety of attractions nearby, tailored to your interests.
