A fully equipped studio to accommodate modern living. Originally built in the early 1800’s, the studio was used as a family home for over 200 years. A brand new renovation (2019) ensured that elements of its traditional architecture were maintained while adding all the modern conveniences. Special attention was given to the facade of the building, exposing the original design and using the original tiles which were made in Volos - Greece 1904. They were meticulously removed from the interior and re-installed in the entrance. You will have access to the whole studio. Free wi-fi is available at every surrounding cafe, all you need to do is ask for the password.

I come from a Greek background, was born in Thessaloniki-Greece,and was brought up in Melbourne - Australia. met my husband-Kosta, over 30 years ago as a tourist on Skyros Island. After many years of living in Melbourne,in 2019 we made a life changing decision to return to the place that always held a piece of our heart. We craved the Skyrian lifestyle and yearned to get back to nature. We are animal lovers and created an Animal Kingdom at our home, which consists of 2 dogs - Bella and Victor. Two cats - Maro and Coco and a Skyrian Pony - Astero. They all live together on our residential property which is located in an area of the island named "Agalini"-translation-'Tranquility'. We have fruit trees,such as fig, lemon, pomegranate, plum, almond and different types of grape vines. We also grow our own vegetables,produce our own olive oil and are on a journey of a healthy well being. Preparing our properties as rentals was a team effort. Kostas' 30 year experience in the building industry has been a massive contributor to the renovations. He has put his heart and soul into restoring the properties-maintaining original charm where possible, while including comforts of modern living. Kalliopi, my daughter was in charge of the Interior design including furniture and style of the studio.
