The house was built in the 1930s by my grandfather. It was renovated by my father and me in 2000 and has been operating as a tourist accommodation ever since. It is built with stone, a material that is abundant in the area. The house is surrounded by gardens with trees and an olive grove. There is also a traditional threshing floor that was in use until the 1960s that gave it its name. It is located at an altitude of 480 meters and is 5km from the main road and 8 km from the nearest beach and 32 km from Corfu town and the airport. The house consists of three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a large open space consisting of a kitchen, dining room and living room and fireplace. It has a large terrace with views East to the sea and Albania. Finally, the house has an infinity pool measuring 9X5 m and which can be heated for an extra cost of 20 euros per day. The rental price includes the environmental tax of 15 euros per night.
