Crete is a beautiful island with so much to see and do. The views across the island from the mountains, the many gorges and beautiful seascape is simply breathtaking, as it is from our villas. The Cretan people are very warm and welcoming and the food on the island from the many tavernas, as well as local produce, is also amazing.

My family have been honoured to be part of the island for the last 20 years and we hope to share that experience with our many guests. You will find the island and our villas a wonderful experience and we are very lucky to get many of our guests returning over the years to repeat the experience.

Villa Francesca and Alexandra both have great panoramic views of the sea and the mountains and Villa Francesca is situated next to peaceful olive groves. Villa Francesca is good for couples, smaller families (upto 5),solo adventurers. Villa Francesca has full privacy and both villas have great WIFI with speeds up to 32mbps. Villa Alexandra at the top of the hill, can host up to 10 people in two self contained floors, larger families, extended families, 2 families and groups of friends, all with their own separate accommodation in the one villa. Both villas have their own private pools. Taverna Andreas in Agia Triada square, a lovely taverna which is a 10 min walk way from the villa (see the card with details in the villa when you arrive), also Pigi very close by. Platanias, 5 mins by car, Mr Gyros and Zisis, on the road from Platanias to Rethymno. All excellent. Lots of lovely restaurants in Rethymnon 15 mins by car. Would also recommend Romeo and Juliet for picturesque with a modern fusion of Greek and international foods. Check out their website. Nearest SuperMarket: Lidl after Tesmes. Nearest walking distance shops in Pigi Places to visit close by: Lake Kournas (a visual Eden) set in a vivid green mountain bowl with impossibly blue skies and a wonderful clear fresh water lake – great tavernas all around the lake, you can park for free on entry into the lake. Episkopi beach (my personal favourite – the waters are so clear and you can see the fish), Panormo beach, Platanias beach (Camping Elizabeth best nearby beach with great beach Taverna, on the way to Rethymno, down a little track to the sea, about 10 mins from the villa). Falls at Episkopi – lovely salmon and fish restaurant at the base of the falls. Also a Greek vineyard and winery at Panorrmo with wine tasting if you fancy a visit. Visit Rethymno – great market on Thursdays about 15 mins from Villa depending on traffic. Lovely Venetian town with some great antiquities museums and boutiques & harbour.
