VILLA ELPINIKI IN RHODES Villa Elpiniki is a new renovated building complex which is 90,00m2 big and has a private pool and a beautiful Mediterranean garden. It is a simple and modern house complex one Store high and is divided in two buildings, the main house with one big bedroom with 2 single beds, a bathroom with bathtub and the living room with an open kitchen-dinning room, the second building is next ot the private pool and has a Master bedroom with a double bed (1,60x2,00) and a bathroom with shower. The two buildings are in a distance of 4m apart and give the necessary privacy to there guests and are together always rentable us one unit with the private pool. The villa has a big Mediterranean garden around of 800m2 big with herbs, olive ,avocado,banana, grapefruit,apricot trees and also a big grass field for children. The swimming pool is 1.30 deep and 50m2 big (8,15m X 6,10m). Villa Elpiniki was renovated in August 2017 by our office VASSILARA ARCHITECTS & ASSOCIATIONS and renovated from our Building company. During the planning important was to have a lot of light inside the main house but also shadow in the morning hours from the East site where all the big openings are
I own together with my brother the architectural office VASSILARA & ASSOCIATES. We are both Architects-Designers and have study in Vienna-Αustria in the University for Fine Arts . We are specialized in renovations-reconstructions of traditional old buildings but also in planning and construction of new buildings. We have done also many interior designing for houses, hotels and bar-restaurants. Our family had from 1986 till 2009 the Apartment Hotel " Belle Helene" exactly next to our villa Elpiniki, so I was trained from very young to work hard and learned about good hospitality and how to serve always with a smile.
The Neighborhood is an old Rhodian Farm Area with old Stone Houses which where used only in the summer Months from the Rhodians. The last 30 Years the area is starting to changes through the new buildings(houses-hotels-shops) into a touristic area but also an area where many new families have build there houses and are living all the Year around. You can still see big agricultural fields, old traditional Stone Houses, very old water mills in those fields and new villas and hotels. Across our villa-100m away is Hotel Ixian Grand (5 Star Hotel). In front of the villa is a big agricultural field that belongs to the Community of Rhodes and will remain unbuilt. Through that field you have a marvelous view to the sea and also access to the beach in front. In front of the villa is a taxi station 24 hours. There are 2 big super markets near SPAR and VASILOPOULOS and a big BAKERY KARAVOLIAS.
