The air-conditioned Villa has 82 m² of living space laid over two floors. On the ground floor there is a nice decorated living room with a fully equipped kitchen with all cooking facilities and a dining area with sufficient place settings for up to five people.Wi Fi internet is available in every room. There is air conditioning in the entire house (use of a/c is included in the price). In the kitchen, there’s everything you’ll need to prepare light snacks or more formal dinners. The villa has two spacious bedrooms. In the upstairs bedroom you will find one double bed and in the downstaris bedroom, one double bed and a sofa bed. Baby cot and baby chair provided on request. Also this Villa has two bathrooms with shower and a washing machine in one of the bathrooms.The outdoor dining area is perfect for enjoying a dinner with family and friends or relaxing in the hammock. Ionia Residence is located in Nea Magnisia, right in the middle of the municipality of Arkadi. It is a small charming village that is situtated quite high up overlooking the sea, green valley and surrounding villages. You can sit in local kafeneion and drink a cup of greek coffe or locally produced raki and enjoy a traditional meal in the village tavern. Within close distance is Stavromenos village with shops, mini-markets and taverns, where you can enjoy a good meal and find something refreshing to drink. The long sandy beach with a selection of beach bars is 1 km away from Ionia Residence, allowing a nice walk past the olive groves and wineyards. The beach has parasols and sun-beds for sunbathing. A couple of traditional taverns near the beach serve Greek dishes through the day. Carretta Carretta’ turtles visit the beach in the nights from May to September during their nesting season. The beautiful surroundings are inviting for walks in the countryside and the central location is very convenient for exploring all the interesting places. It is totally worthy to visit the monasteries of Arkadi and Preveli, the Minoan Palace of Knossos, the pottery village of Margarites, Eleftherna's museum and Melidoni Cave. You should definitely walk in the streets of the old town of Rethymno, which is 300m away, where the old houses with the venetian doors and the minarets will take you on a journey through time. A plethora of restaurants, cafes and shops are waiting for you to explore them. At the edge of the old town you can visit Fortezza Castle, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. A stop to the Archeological museum and the Folklore Museum of Rethymno will complete your visit. Chania town is 60km away, where you can enjoy the local market and various stores for shopping. At the venetian port there is a beautiful Egyptian lighthouse, the Maritime Museum of Crete, the Venetian Shipyards, the Küçük Hasan Mosque and the Chania Sailing Club - Neorio Moro.
