This charming villa is inviting you to come enjoy a freshly cut citrus fruit from its garden! It has beed built in respect to its surrounding environment among orchardes and olive groves. Our guests will have the chance to enjoy the fresh air while hiking to the picturesque chapel on top of the hill or crossing the gorge of "Katsouna" making it ideal to nature lovers. Additionally, one can enjoy the vivid night life of Platanias which is only a 10min drive away. So, it combines serenity to a more cosmopolitan life style. A home away from home!
Alexandra and I are always happy to meet and treat our new guests upon arrival. Our aim is to make everyone feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible! For us it is the place where we go to when we want to get away from the city life and hectic routines. We hope it will be the same for you! It will also be also our pleasure to share information about the village as well as the entire island as it is not only our hometown but a place we cherish. Please be free to ask about anything! Besides, we are both teachers which means we can handle taugh inqueries...
This villa was the first to be built at this location. After its complition, a few more houses sprung up making it ideal for families. Still there are less than a handful. All our previous guests have found its location ideal due to the fact that it is near the entrance to the highway but far enough from its noise. This makes the house more approachable to all the amazing sights the island so generously offers. Driving to Elafonisi beach, Falasarna beach or the village of Paleochora (with the various beaches) is only about an hour away. However, the nerest beaches are Platanias, Gerani, Agia Marina and of course Agious Apostolous which range from 5min to a quarter the most. Next, if one wishes to enjoy a quiet restaurant serving fresh fish or other more traditional delicacies while gazing at the blue horizon, they will defenately find many near and far. The Old Venetian Port is but a 20 min drive.
