My name is Houdalakis Aris. I live and work in Chania, as I maintain 2 jewelry stores. In one, I even have the workshop, as I make my own jewelry which I promote in my stores. I'm married. I love animals, and I have a dog, Cookie, and a cat, Ali. My hobbies are the sea, swimming, as well as playing beach tennis with my friends. The villa was originally built by my grandfather and housed his family there. Then it passed to my dad and then to me. It was completely renovated in 2018. Our village is small, with few inhabitants, but very beautiful. Surrounded by nature and olive trees, it offers peace and tranquility. Personally, I have many pleasant memories from my childhood, because I spent a lot of time in the summers living here with my grandparents. We are quite close by car from the most popular and at the same time beautiful places of our island, Elafonisi, Falasarna and Balos. It will be our great pleasure to host you in our home. We are always close to our visitor for whatever is needed. We always try to meet our guest both at check-in, but we also say goodbye at check-out.

Zen villa is located in Dermiziana village, a traditional spot that is on the way to Elafonisi famous beach with thousands of visitors each season. Elafonisi is an exotic beach, definately worth visiting. It is the landmark of western Crete and widely famous for its unique beach of white, pinky –red coral sand & turquoise crystal clear waters. It is a well-organized beach managing to keep its natural character. Canteens, taverns and cafes can be found in the area of Elafonisi. Elafonisi Island is separate from Crete mainland by a beautiful lagoon somewhere between ankle and knee deep. The island is a protected nature reserve (Natura 2000). A wooden cross commemorates a shipwreck from 1907- Austrian passenger steamer called Imperatrix.
