Kanfanar and the surrounding countryside are well known, not only for its historical and cultural heritage, but also for its excellent and authentic Istrian cuisine. Rovinj, the next larger town, will enchant you with its medieval streets and warm Mediterranean ambience. The main church of St. Euphemia, where relics of the saint are kept, is one of the most beautiful Baroque buildings in Istria.
