Stara Baska Apartments are hidden in a small bay on the Island of Krk, in the village of Stara Baška. Here time seems to run a little bit slower than usual, and life here is pretty simple, as life on the island often is. Days are sunny and bright, clear blue sea spreads as far as your eyes can see and pleasant quiet nights guarantee a restful vacation. All of the apartments have everything you need, and if there is anything extra that you think of - we are here :)
Our team is Damir, Ivana and little David & Dora :) Our highest priority is our little family, but the second-highest priority is our hosting and the apartments we manage. We want all of our guests to feel at home, and if there is anything you need, we live just next door always happy to help with a bit of advice, guidance, or just company. We enjoy meeting people from all over the world, so this is a perfect job for us :)
The village is 2 kilometers long, with a little harbor nested on its far end. Due to its isolation, Stara Baska is not a typical tourist attraction, but a place where you can really relax and enjoy peace and quiet. With plenty of beaches to offer along the coast, the most popular are Beach Zala and Beach Oprna (on each end of Stara Baska) and both of them have a beach bar. Less crowded and even better beaches are in the middle of the village since they are available only for people who can park their cars in the village, and there is no public parking place in Stara Baska (only private). From our house to the nearest beach is only 100 meters and the rest of them are connected by little walking paths. At the end of the village, just above the boats on the pier, in a radius of 100 meters are located 4 restaurants. They all offer everything from fresh fish to all sorts of meat, but also some vegetarian menus. Another good thing about this location is that you can go and visit all other places on Krk Island, and all of them are 15-30 minutes away. After you visit your points of interest, such as museums or famous landmarks you are coming back to the peace and quiet of Stara Baska.
