We would like to welcome you to our renovated 140 years old house in Vinodolska Valley. The house is built in a traditional way and has nice brick ceilings in the ground-floor area. The house has 60-80 cm thick walls which will protect you from summer heat and will probably render A/C unnecessary. The courtyard of the house is enclosed with a 2.80 m - 3 m high stone wall facing the street which offers a complete privacy to the residents. The garden also features an old water well. The neighborhood is very quiet with few neighbors and surrounded with almost undisturbed nature. The villa is a perfect gate away from busy urban living. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet all you want while still having all the amenities of modern living and also (if you wish to) access to news and internet. The house and its surroundings will give you full relaxation you deserve.

I and my family have spent many years overseas working in humanitarian field. However I always liked returning to Croatia and to our old family house in Karlici-Kostelj. Here and there in the house, you can find some mementos of our life oversees...

The house is situated in a nice and quiet area and is surrounded by nature. The closest beaches are in Crikvenica which is 6 km away from the property and has many beaches and sport activities available such as diving, sailing, water skiing, fishing etc. From Crikvenica you can also take boat excursions to nearby islands. There are numerous cycling and hiking trails in the vicinity of the property. The local roads were part of this year's Tour of Croatia cycling route. For history lovers there are also interesting sites and old castle ruins which can be visited. The very popular paragliding site is in nearby Tribalj and approximately 30 minutes drive from the property there is a lush forest good for hiking. There are opportunities for lake fishing in Tribalj (3 km) and for sea-fishing in Crikvenica.
