The renovation of Casa Arancin, a romanesque building originating from the 13th century, was completed in May 2021. In the renovating process special care was taken to preserve the cultural heritage, but also to keep the effortless grace and style of antique times. The exterior of the house has been perfectly preserved and has retained its true old - fashioned flair. Each accommodation unit has its own personality and unique design. Casa Arancin is located in Via Euphrasiana, the eponymous street of the well known Euphrasian Basilica - listed od the prestigeous UNESCO World Heretige List. Climb the Euphrasian basilica bell tower for an extraordinary view of Poreč - and take a look at Casa Arancin, your home away from home. The house is settled in a quiet alley in the very heart of the old city - a pedestrian only area. There is no possibility to park inside the old city walls. Our guests have a free parking place at the Main city parking which is located just a few minutes walk away from the apartment along the Lungomare promenade. A transfer to the apartment for our guests and their luggage will be aranged. Casa Arancin is settled in a quiet street in the very heart of the old city, a pedestrian-only area. That's the reason why there's no possibility to park near the apartment, but our guests have at their disposal a free private parking space which is located a ten minute walk from the apartment, with a transfer arranged from the parking lot to the apartment. The Romanesque house is just around the corner on the Marafor square guarded by the little putto. The Istrian Assembly Hall, the ruins of Neptune temple from the 1st century dedicated to the god of the sea, the Two saints house - all located a few steps away, as well as the main Decumanus street with its gothic palaces. The historic center of Porec is a place of diverse entertainment. Ancient Decumanus, the main old town street, is an unavoidable place to walk in the summer months. If you haven't planned anything in particular, you will easily find a point of interest: jazz at the Lapidarium of the Museum or a concert of classical music in the Basilica, a summer cocktail in the ancient Marafor Square, some prosciutto and cheese with an inevitable glass of wine, or a fancy dinner by the sea. If you feel lazy and just want to relax and soak up the sun, the bathing area is only 50 meters away from the house. In each case, feel the magic of the old town, walk the cobbled streets once walked by the ancient Romans, enjoy the architecture, the local gastronomy and return to your cozy corner at Casa Arancin.
