You may have noticed the name of our apartment, and perhaps wondered why "Ljupka". The name Ljupka is of Slavic origin and carries a positive meaning. Although rare and specific, this name represents something beautiful, attractive, sweet, and charming. One theory even suggests that the name Ljupka comes from the word "ljub", which means love, so this name can also be interpreted as a symbol of love, tenderness, and warmth. Whatever the case may be, we did not randomly choose this name, because just as people who bear this name are full of life, we want this space to be full of life as well, so may the moments you spend here be filled with joy, optimism, and warmth! This studio apartment for two people is located in a quiet suburban area of the city of Omiš, which is 7 km away. It is situated at the foot of the Omiška Dinara mountain, 30 km from Split, and 25 km from Makarska. We suggest taking a walk along the slopes of Dinara and reaching a higher altitude than our building to see the vineyards of Rogoznica and perhaps taste the famous Rogoznica wine. You can also visit the town center with a church located at 260 meters above sea level. Mountain enthusiasts, mountain biking enthusiasts, or nature and bird lovers will surely find pleasure in one of the existing trails. This apartment is located near beautiful beaches and is an excellent location for a relaxing seaside vacation. The nearest beach is Artina Beach, located about 60 meters from the building entrance, below the main road. You can access it by crossing the road and descending to the beach or through a small tunnel (for those who prefer not to cross the road), which is only twenty meters west of our private parking. Ruskamen Beach is also not far (2 km) if you head west, and if you go east, we recommend visiting Medići Beach in the neighboring village, located below the Medistone Hotel (1.7 km away). Those are beautiful pebble beaches in idyllic coves, with crystal clear sea, natural shade of pine forests, and a few beach bars. If you are a fan of good coffee, all-day cocktail service, or organized evenings with live music, we suggest setting aside one evening to visit Medistone. For romantic long walks, be sure to drive to Brela and witness the nighttime magic created by their famous and widely recognized promenade. As for Omiš itself, a city of pirates, romance, full of charm, secluded, small, magical, yet so strong and lovely - make the most of every charm of that city and explore every corner without skipping anything. In the evening, return to our oasis with hearts full but batteries drained. ;)
