The surroundings are simply beautiful. The river Pazincica ends its above-ground course in the Pazin Gorge and flows under the fort wall and continues underground to the south. The impressive Pazin Gorge, also called Jama, inspired many travel writers to look at and write about the unique natural wonder. In Pazin there is a big market every month, where various truths and products are offered.
