Karmen’s Apartment One is newly renovated and it offers full comfort. The principal places of interest, including All rooms are air-conditioned and there is a small sitting area in the garden. The brand new queen-size bed is equipped with a special mattress chosen for our climate as it offers outstanding air circulation. Our guests are provided with hand-made Croatian linen made of finest 100% cotton. Even more important for a good night’s sleep are the mosquito nets on windows and an electronic repellent. The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower, shampoos and towels in different colours for each guest. The kitchen is equipped with ceramic cooking plates, refrigerator, ice-maker, electric water kettle, microwave oven, toaster, sandwich toaster, cookware and serves people of all levels of culinary ambitions. The sitting area provides a comfortable couch (which can be converted in a queen-size bed), a flat screen TV with 100+ channels, video on demand, a laptop and free WiFi. Adapters for international power plugs are provided.

Karmen’s Apartment One is situated in the heart of Split in a picturesque old stone house in the are called Varoš. Varoš is the oldest part of Split and it is still, as it has always been, inhabited by fishermen and craftsmen. Winding streets, small passages, stairs at odd locations and houses which seem to grow out of each other are all a reflection of the intertwined and authentically Mediterranean lives of its inhabitants. Diocletian’s Palace, Riva promenade, belvedere, shopping, beaches, the Marjan Forest, and the transportation hub are located within walking distance. The surroundings are more than just picturesque – they are also convenient. A bakeries and grocery stores are situated closeby. Coffee shops, restaurants, taverns and diners overflow the neighborhood, ready to serve all tastes and pockets. An excellent green market with fresh fruits and vegetables is situated at ten minutes walk. Even closer there is a spectacular fish market. Here, the freshest fishes and seafood are sold, captured that very morning. The prices are suitable for every pocket, ranging from three euros for anchovies to fifty and more euros for huge and rare fish species such as dentex.
