Villa Planita is a unique 400-year-old luxury villa in the heart of the old Dalmatian municipality of Novigrad. Villa Planita brilliantly combines rustic traditional Dalmatian style with luxury, using stone walls and wooden details and modernizing the space with contemporary furniture. The attention to detail provided by Villa Planita is present even in its name - the villa was named after the royal cloak that Queen Elizabeth knitted during her imprisonment in Novigrad. The fortress is located at the very top of the town and can be visited. Enjoy a luxurious vacation in Croatia surrounded by traditional stone houses and fortresses and start each day with a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea. Villa Planita Surroundings Novigrad is a small municipality whose local population is mainly engaged in fishing and tourism. Peaceful fishing village. The larger city nearby is Zadar, only a 30-minute drive away. Novigrad is located between four national parks. 15 km to the northwest is Paklenica National Park, a canyon on Mount Velebit, a favorite among alpinists, and an 80 km drive north will bring you to Plitvička Jezera National Park, the oldest and largest national park in Croatia with breathtaking waterfalls and pristine nature. 50 km south of Novigrad is Kornati National Park, an archipelago of 89 islands and reefs often called "nautical paradise". The last national park is NP Krka. And of course, there is a party paradise nearby - Zrće!
