One of the best-known and most visited parts of Budapest is Városliget, which is the second largest public park in our country. Its total area is 100 hectares, almost half of which is actually a park. The City Park is one of the most popular attractions in the capital, where you can find many sights. Its many promenades are worth a visit in any season if you want a bit of peace. On the occasion of a virtual walk, we will introduce you to the best sights of the City Park - following which you can spend a great day in this wonderful area either alone or with friends or your partner.Things to see in Városliget, in any season! Hősök tere is a truly special attraction of Városliget, as it is part of the World Heritage along with the Andrássy út that runs in front of it. The next stop is Museum of Fine Arts. The Műjégpálya can be visited at any time, you can even go ice-skating in the winter and go boating in the summer on this wonderful lake! Vajdahunyad Castle situated next to the lake is a beautiful building, The other side of the Városliget is the famous Zoo with the oldest and largest collection in Hungary, which is now a nature conservation area. Parking costs 450 HUF (about 1 EUR) per hour between 08:00 and 20:00 on weekdays around my apartment.
