Darmada Eco Resort was started in 2009, My name is Wayan Suriada. I am born and grow up here in sidemen. The design of the rooms brings together Old Dutch and Balinese elements. Each room has either a king size or 2 single beds with mosquito nets. The bathroom is half open and has a hot water shower. All rooms have gorgeous handmade cement tiles. Relax and enjoy the stunning views from both the front and back terrace. Warung Melita, our dining space is serving healthy local and western food. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or a drink to the sound and view of the river Unda or let us make your picnic basket and surprise you. Everything we use, we buy locally and we have also started our own organic garden. After many hours of manual labour, the first stage was completed in May 2012. Its completion created 4 Colonial rooms, 4 Deluxe rooms, 3 bungalows and a restaurant.

A very charming and tranquil village, Sidemen is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday and to experience the authentic Bali. A lot of people described Sidemen as what Bali was like before the tourism burst. Sidemen is one of the oldest villages where the people are making a living through hand weaving, which you can witness in most houses in Sidemen. Our 3-hour Guided Trekking is hugely popular as it will guide you through the village's beautiful surroundings as well as to witness the locals' daily activities. The Mother Temple of Besakih is approximately 40 minutes away by driving, while the famous Lempuyang Temple and Tirta Gangga Water palace.
