Hotel Deli River is located in Medan City, surrounded by tropical greenery and natural landscapes. Overlooking the Sumatran Jungle, it offers free Wi-Fi access. Deli River Hotel is approximately a 50-minute drive from Kuala Namu International Airport. The famous Lake Toba is about 4 to 5-hour journey by car from the hotel. Rooms at Deli River are well-equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom. Each comes with a TV and a private balcony with views of the jungle. The hotel was built by the Indonesian-Dutch couple Diana Pardamean and Dirk A. Buiskool who were already operating Tri Jaya Tour and Travel since 1992. Prior to operating Tri Jaya Tour and Travel, Diana was working as an English and Dutch speaking guide. Her husband was lecturing European history at the University of North Sumatra.

Hotel Deli River was opened in 2006 and it consisted of 8 rooms. In 2009, the swimming pool was added to the hotel. In 2013, 6 more rooms were built and in 2025 an additional 6 rooms were finished. Currently this small family hotel has 21 rooms.
The concept of Hotel Deli River is a small scale Eco-friendly boutique hotel with rooms in the midst of a Sumatran tropical garden.
