Drop In Surf Lodge first started as a small café which opened in spring 2014 and later developed into an accomodation offering bed and breakfast or surf coaching packages to travelers visiting Lombok. The first location needed to be relocated due to the development of the Moto GP circuit in 2021. We fully rebuilt our Surf Lodge in a new location and continued to offer surf coaching packages and bed and breakfast. Come surf and stay, we are happy to welcome you to our place!

Drop In Surf Lodge is located a 15-minute scooter-ride east of Kuta Lombok on a hill with breathtaking views over rice paddies and local villages until the ocean. There is an 8-minute dirt road ride after you leave the main road, through the rice paddies, to reach our location. Our Surf Lodge spreads over the hill and is designed to give you the greatest feeling of relaxation and coziness after a busy day out in the surf. An accommodation designed for travelers and surfers with surf spots like Tanjung Aan, Gerupuk Bay, and Ekas only a short ride away.
The main house and pool area are beautifully designed with lots of love. The restaurant area, the lounge area, and the adjacent 10 m pool have a view of the ocean. Being a bit away from Kuta allows us to have beautiful undisturbed landscape views. We followed our inspiration and passion for interior and have created a fusion between Mediterranean and Indonesian styles that meets Western standards.
We are happy to help organize transfers, trips, and guided surf lessons. Of course, we are also helpful with tips about the area, and things to see. its beaches and surf spots! Our Surf Lodge overlooks the Mandalika Motor GP and is only 8 min. from the main entrance to the track.
周边信息
We live in a very small neighborhood 2km outside of Kuta village. The people in this village under palm trees are very friendly and helpful.
Motorbikes are needed to get around (we can organize motorbike rental with prior notice). There are no restaurants in the direct neighborhood, thus motorbikes are needed to get to Kuta for dinner. Alternatively we can also offer taxi services if you are not comfortable riding a motorbike.
