Gipsy Beach resort has two bungalows inspired from the traditional rice storage houses in recycled timber and thatched roofs. They offer all the modern comfort. Two more will be added in the near future.
They are large (35m2) and comfortable. They each have a bathroom with shower and natural stone floors.
Each room has a large king size bed, in-door lounge and outside veranda with sea views. Each room has a fan, a flat screen TV and DVD reader.
The houses are very romantic and suit divers, beach lovers and honeymooners.
Gipsy Beach is a private beach. Next door there is a restaurant – managed by a Frenchman, Nico – which offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. They can also cook the fish the guests have caught themselves.
The resort has a traditional boat. The captain, Maesun resides on the resort. He picks up the customers, organises discovery boat tours of the islands, snorkelling d fishing expeditions.
What to do:
Diving: The Sekotong Gilis are renown for their diving site.
Surfing. 30 mn minutes away are two famous surfing breaks
