American Married to beautiful woman from Java for over 13 years. We use to export Indonesian handicraft and make our own line of garden furniture., that we sold from our store Summerwood, in Rhode Island. Looking for a change we found Pemuteran 3 years ago and started building Hibiscus House, Its been a long process and we are not finished, but we are finally ready to open with two unique guesthouse rooms, or bed and breakfast style. We are an Eco friendly business, which means we do as much as we can to protect the environment. All of waste is separated trash, recycling and organic. We use natural home made cleaning products and use very little pest sprays, Our garden is 100% organic and has become a sanctuary for birds and other wildlife, many birds. all of our waste water separated gray and black we use the gray water for irrigation. The property contains 9 dry wells to mitigate flooding and return water to the aquifer. All of our lighting is LED. We still have room to improve, which is why I use the term Eco-Friendly.

Hibiscus House just opened for business April, 2016 . The rooms and property are as you see them. Magical tropical garden/arboretum setting on 2,000 meters within Hibiscus House's fabulous home stay that offers 2 en-suite bedrooms. King size bed quality linens, huge outdoor shower bathroom, with hot and cold water. Private 9x7 meter pool. Shared kitchen area fully equipped and stocked w/( high quality flatware, plates and glasses and amble pots and pans) stove. Garden area with two outside showers and 9 x 6 meter pool, with a 2.2 meter deep end and built in bench.

In Pemuteran, 10 minutes from the beach and 15 minutes to Bio Rock . Quiet dirt road with a mix of local houses and Villas. A short 10 minute walk to the beach or to restaurants and shopping . The area is still has a very rural feel, with cows and pigs freely grazing in the dry season and corn planted in the rainy season.
