Our property located right next to the river has a cozy and welcoming vibe to it. Our rooms, that are located on the first floor, offer either a lovely Mountain-/Riverview or a view on the quiet little “Jalan Orangutan” (Orangutan Road) from the terrace. On the groundfloor you can find a little shop, laundry service and also our dining/seating area (also with a view on the river) where we also offer traditional indonesian food we cook for you and our family - Our food is your food :) In case you want to go trekking in the rich jungle right infront of our doorstep we are happy to connect you to our nephew who luckily is one of the coolest jungle guides in Bukit Lawang and focuses on Eco-Tourism. Apart from that, we can arrange transportation for you where ever you are in North Sumatra, just let us know. We are looking forward to welcoming you at our place, to share the lovely nature that we are surrounded by with you and maybe give you some insights into our local and very diverse indonesian culture. We are a family owned business, born and raised in Bukit Lawang. Most of the time Mum and Dad „Jemesta and Rosani“ are at our Guesthouse to welcome you and make you feel at home. If you need anything you can ask them. Born and raised in Bukit Lawang also means that we can show you the nicest spots of Bukit Lawang and help you with anything you need during your time in Bukit Lawang, so just feel free to ask :)

Close to our guesthouse you can find a very nice Bar called „Jacks Bar“ a collection of restaurants with delicious indonesian as well as western food and a lovely wood carving shop that offer carving classes called „Dr. Wood“ using old wood that gets fished out of the river daily.
