Hi there! I'm Komang, the third generation running Santra Putra Guesthouse, where I was born and raised. My family has been hosting travelers for 33 years+, and we aim to make every guest feel at home and leave with unforgettable memories.

Informacje o obiekcie

Santra Putra Guesthouse, hosting travellers around the globe since 1989, is part of Wayan Karja's art studio and family home. It is located on an elevated hill on the west side of Ubud in Penestanan Kaja village. Please note that THERE IS NO DIRECT CAR ACCESS; you need to walk a bit (3 minutes) from the drop-off point. Our guesthouse is surrounded by lush gardens. You might encounter some wildlife like ants, lizards, geckos, frogs, or mosquitoes. It’s all part of the unique experience of staying in such a natural setting, but please consider before you book.

Penestanan village is located west of Ubud on a hilly tropical jungle and vast rice paddies. This beautiful neighborhood is known for the 'young artist' painters, hidden rice field pathways, yoga studios and great small cafes. It has been through a lot of development and progress and nowadays it has transformed into a hub for tourists interested in the arts, spirituality and nature. You will see the blend of local community, expats and also travellers that creates a kaleidoscope of experiences.
