There is much to see in the surrounding area beginning with the beautiful beaches with clear, azure waters and the numerous water sports including surfing, snorkeling, diving, kayaking, fishing and boating. The area boasts a number of restaurants, bars and warungs that provide local and international cuisine. The local population are predominantly Hindu and their are many colourful ceremonies and celebrations. Scooter is the easiest and most accessible way to tour the island and there are very few vehicles but guests can hire a driver, golf buggy, or bicycle. Many people simply walk. Whether you want to do very little and take time out to just restore, practice yoga, enjoy daily massages, great food and magical sunsets or fill your day with more active pursuits this small island provides so much more then initially meets the eye.
