The Secret is not just about a beautiful and hidden place, it is about the feeling of being home in paradise! The Secret is only having 3 villas all facing the ocean and a beautiful 120degree sunset panorama over the mangroves. The Secret is the closest accommodation to the main beaches of Karimunjawa. As it is 10min out of town with the scooter, you will enjoy the tranquility of this place. The view is stunning - every day you will enjoy a different sunset just in front of you! The rooftop is also perfect for stargazing or enjoying Yoga. The staff Abyan, Anik and Dadang are just like family and will take care of you with all their heart. The breakfast options are amazing with homemade jam and bread... Karimunjawa has a Secret! Come and find it :)
The Secret has been built with much love and dedication by the owner Eddy himself to create a special home for his family and friends. Eddy is originally from Bandung, West Java and married Patricia or "Cici", how the locals call her on the island, originally from Germany in 2017. When they were doing research on marine tourism in 2013 in Karimunjawa, both of them fell in love with the island and were ever since dreaming of having their family home once on the island. The main villa is their private house. The villa downstairs was originally built for Cici's parents and the villa above the entrance for their two boys. So enjoy the feeling of being home in paradise!
The Secret is the closest accommodation to the three main beaches in Karimunjawa! You reach them via nice 15min walk or within 2min with the scooter.
You can also go hiking for up to 3 hours close from the accommodation to Mountain "Maming".
To town it will take you 10min with the scooter. To Alano and Anora Beach around 15 min.
