The location of Villa Pondok Terra is very central, in the historical centre of Yogyakarta with just 5 minutes walking from one of the most touristic streets of Yogyakarta: Jalan Prawirotaman. You have direct access to many restaurants (at least 20), cafe's, coffeeshops, travel agencies, supermarkets, ATMs, art/antique galleries etc. Your villa is is situated in the middle of an authentic city kampung, without any street traffic, which makes the environment very peaceful. You can walk to several historic sites: alun-alun (10 min), which turns after sunset into a popular local attraction with light cycles, street/food markets etc. You can walk to the Sultan Water Palace (Taman Sari) in 15 minutes and to the Sultan Palace (Kraton) and you can walk within 30 minutes to the central shopping street Malioboro street.
