Puri Temple is located in the heart of Banjar Canggu, however Canggu has become the collective name for a number of villages on Bali’s west coast which has become one of the islands most sort after residential areas. The popular Canggu Beach and Echo beach are just a short walk, they are great spots for surfing, sunset drinks or dinner at one of the beach clubs or the restaurants overlooking the beach. You can enjoy both western and Indonesian cuisine at an array of eclectic cafes and restaurants in the local area. There are dozens of restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance to the villa - too many to list. There are also gyms, supermarkets, clinics and chemists nearby. Everything you could possibly need. There is a vibrant live music scene in the area with regular gigs at OLd Mans and Deus. You can go horse riding through the rice fields or along the beach. The Greg Norman designed Nirwana golf course is just a short drive up the coast next to the famous Tanah Lot temple. There is something for all the family to do in Canggu. The villa is very private and secluded on a sleepy residential street, but walking distance to everything and it is safe and easy to walk around the neighborhood.
