My mum established the business in 1977 when I was 6 month old and now we run the business together showcasing a traditional Irish welcome for visitors and aid them in exploring Ireland and its hidden treasures, We love welcoming guests into our home with homemade baking on arrival and a cuppa to help them relax and unwind after their day. We provide information on local sites, historical attractions and activities to see and visit in the surrounding areas and counties.

The house has 4 bedrooms with classic décor, with parquet floor and powerful showers. All bedrooms have electric blankets, fluffy cotton towels, free toiletries and hairdryers in the room. There are 2 sitting rooms, one is a cinema room with vintage cinema seats, a classic arcade and popcorn machine and the other has comfortable seating with an open fire, equipped with a flat screen 50" TV with satellite channels with a selection of DVDs and board games for use. Our house is the ideal location to base and explore the significant heritage sites and thrilling outdoor activities in Irelands hidden Heartlands in the southern region of Ireland. Visit Doneraile Estate, and Parklands, Liscarroll Donkey sanctuary locally and just a short drive to numerous castles including Blarney, Bunratty, Cahir and the Rock of Cashel. Our home is nestled between the Ballyhoura, Galtee and Nagles mountains with many looped walks in both forests and mountains to explore. There is a variety of outdoor activities to be immersed mountain biking, horse riding, fishing in the Blackwater and Ballyhass Lakes activity centre.
