The Shearwater Hotel is just 20 minutes' drive from Athlone and a 50-minute car journey from Galway. It is close to the marina and the River Suck. It offers fine-dining at a modern bar, and The SPA and a Shearfitness leisure centre with swimming pool. Each bedroom has free Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed and an LCD TV screen. The private bathroom is equipped with a bath. A state-of-the-art conference and banqueting centre has 9 meeting rooms and the Plaza Suite. A range of activities can be enjoyed in the area surrounding the Shearwater Hotel, including golfing, extreme boot camp, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, and horse riding.
