Coolanowle Self Catering cottages were coverted from farm buildings in 2008. These historic cottages used to be used as cow byres throughout the 19th and 20th Centuries. Converted to cottage style with a home away from home feel.

Coolanowle is situated on the Carlow - Laois border and is an ideal base for touring the east, southeast and midlands regions of Ireland. Dublin city just one hours drive, Kilkenny city just forty minutes drive, while Waterford is roughly 1 hour 10 minutes drive. As Coolanowle Self Catering accommodation is in a very rural setting, access to a car is strongly advisable. Perfect for a quiet get away for couples and families.
