Deerpark Stables is situated up its own private 400m avenue, set on 7 acres of paddocks with gardens, ensuring a feeling of peace and tranquillity. We are proud to share our Guest Annexe and beautiful surroundings, which is part of our primary home. The Annexe offers panoramic views of our horses from each room. We have two resident-friendly dogs and two cats who have access to the main garden, but not the Annexe or private garden attached. We have recently acquired chickens too, so maybe you'll be lucky and have fresh eggs for your breakfast! We are less than a five-minute drive to the fabulous Grand Canal Greenways, perfect for walking or cycling enthusiasts. The scenic Lough Boora Parklands is also less than a 15-minute drive away which offers beautiful walkways and bog oak sculptures and art installations. Banagher and Shannonbridge are a 7-minute drive, where boat trips can be booked, and you can enjoy food and drinks overlooking the River Shannon. We highly recommend Killeens Pub in Shannonbridge for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Sam is a wildlife and animal lover who enjoys maintaining the gardens around the property. She is a keen Equestrian with a lifetime involvement with horses, and now mostly breeding future showjumpers. Sam's son is a professional showjumper in Belgium. Sam is a keen artist who enjoys creating sculptures and paintings in her spare time. Sam enjoys foraging seasonal herbs and plants and has a keen interest in nutrition and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Belmont is close to many historical landmarks Clonony castle being just visible from Deerpark. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly, with High Street Catholic Church less than 2kms from the property. The village shop "Cahill's" in Belmont is open late 7 days a week, perfect for basic essentials. Nearby Shannonbridge boasts 2 super pub restaurants, Killeens & Lukers bars, offering regular live music events, including traditional Irish music sessions. Reknowned for quality Sporthorses, Belmont House Stud is a 5 minute drive from Deerpark Stables, home to resident sporthorse stallions, broodmares, and youngsters. It is a central Midlands location, making it an ideal Base to explore from.
