We have three individual properties, all with their own character.
The original Farmhouse is a two story 3 bedroom house. It sleeps 7 persons , including a sitting room, kitchen, and bathroom.
The Stonehouse, is a dormer 3 bedroom house. I t sleeps 5 persons. Including a sitting room/kitchen and wheelchair accessible shower room.
The "Sallys" is the newest addition to douglas lodge. its is a 3 bedroom house which sleeps 6 persons. Including a kitchen, sitting room, bathroom, and wheelchair accessible shower room.
All our properties have oil fired central heating, TV, fully equipted kitchens, free WiFi, and most bedrooms are en-suite.
We are a family run business, who pride ourselves in our comfortable and peaceful self catering houses.
We take great enjoyment in meeting new guests , giving them the opportunity to enjoy and experience this beautiful scenic area of the west of Ireland.
We are overlooked by the beautiful Arigna mountains. Just 2 km's from the award winning Keadue village. We are just 5 mins by car to the fabulous Kilronan Castle and 10 mins away from Lough Key Forest Park.
We enjoy being both situated in a peaceful location and also being close enough to our neighbouring towns of Boyle and Carrick On Shannon for visitors who seek some night time entertainment.
The award wining Kilronan castle is situated close by and is a favourite for our guests. Whether you are partaking in afternoon tea or attending a wedding, our many local taxi services can guarantee you can enjoy a drink and get safely home.
The Arigna mining museum is another local favourite, just 10 mins away, this tour is a must for any visitors to the area.
Lough Key Forest Park, is another favourite of locals and visitors alike. You can take a Zip line through the trees, Hire a boat, enjoy the experience of Boda Borg , take a tour of the grounds, or hire an electric bike or just enjoy lunch and a glass of wine and take in the surroundings.
