A cozy home from home cottage that is just off the beaten track and has been described as rustic but very comfortable. It's warm, quiet and spacious, making it ideal for those who wish to recharge, focus on some work or have a relaxing holiday. The layout is open plan with a loft space sleeping area with double and single mattress also extra double pull out bed in the main room; and please take note of the rustic but securely fixed wooden ladder to loft as seen in the photos. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, hand basin with soap, shower gel with towels provided. The kitchen is off the main room with complimentary tea, coffee and condiments, if anything is missing please ask. Washing machine, dryer and wood are not included in the price, pay as you use in the box by machines. These are found by going through the small pgate at side of cottage and into the shed(outhouse A car is essential
I'm a textile artist living beside the cottage designing and making landscape inspired knitwear. I also love travel and always have my escape from Irish weather at the ready! I enjoy meeting people but I also respect their space, it is your holiday and Solo travelers have the comfort of knowing that they are not totally alone on this beautiful and peaceful hillside. I have been awarded the Superhost status *****5 times on another rental site and I aim for guests to have a comfortable, enjoyable, peaceful and adventurous time in Co.Clare and surrounding counties. Please knock on my door in an emergency but for general small questions and chat, then a text/email will get me or catch me outdoors for a chat. Do contact me for further information. A car is essential.....
I love this calm diverse friendly artistic and agricultural neighborhood where you can breath clean air, drink fresh spring water and stretch your legs. We are situated on the East Clare walking trail and over looking the Shannon region. Organic seasonal vegetables and dairy produce are available at the neighbours farm. Visit the music/pub/restaurant within 10 mins drive Many Therapists also live in the area working from the Cuinas center in the nearby village. Dotted around there are old castles, megalithic stones, small lakes and the area has a peaceful feel with a little intrigue and magic. Situated within an hours drive of Galway and Limerick cities, Cliffs of Moher, Wild Atlantic way, Aran Islands and 30 mins to Lough Derg, Holy Island, Ennis, Gort, Yeat's Tower and so much more the list is endless and something for everyone........
