Located along the N59, is a perfect base for anyone wanting to explore North Mayo and West Sligo or is in the area visiting family or friends. It serves as the gateway to Sligo, granting easy access to many of the local ammenities, such as walking trails, beaches and heritage sights.
With Dromore West Village right at your doorstep, all your short-stay necessities are within walking distance.
Your stay at this comfortable, central accommodation is sure to be delightful.
I have lived in the Dromore West area for over 20 years - my father is a native and I grew up in Chicago.
I've been hosting people from all over the world since 2018.
I love promoting our little village of Dromore West and showcasing the wonderful attractions of the surrounding area. I am excited to share this beautiful location with more people! I believe that West Sligo is a hidden treasure, and this accommodation is the latest addition to West Sligo Tourism.

Dromore West Village has all the amenities needed for a short stay in the area – convenience store / off-licence, petrol station, pharmacy, butchers, Post Office, beauticians, hairdressers, pub, restaurant/café and 2 take-away restaurants.
Outside the front window, you can enjoy the picturesque Dunneill River waterfall and Old Mill.
Just a brief 30-second walk leads to the Dunneill River Walk, a delightful nature trail along the riverbank where you can immerse yourself in native flora and fauna, surrounded by the soothing sounds of chirping birds and flowing water.
The village also features a playground and sarden for added enjoyment.
A quick 13-minute drive takes you to Aughris Head, a must-visit point on the Wild Atlantic Way, where you can find the renowned 'Beach Bar and Restaurant' – one of Ireland's most scenic bars offering exceptional dining and traditional Irish music.
Nearby beaches include Tra Bui (10-minute drive), Dunmoran Strand (15 minutes away), Easkey Village (10 minutes away), and the seaside resort of Enniscrone (20 minutes away).
