Our apartment is suitable for solo travellers, families, friends and people with reduced mobility who are visiting South Leitrim, the Midlands and the West of Ireland. It is a suitable location to sit back, relax and unwind after the day. Guests have full access to the complete property with a patio area outside the back door of the apartment. The patio gets the sun from early afternoon until the sun sets. We are located 5 min. drive from Lough Rynn Hotel. We have a working organic dry stock farm and our apartment is located adjacent to our dwellinghouse on the farm We have 2 friendly, gentle playful collie dogs who love to play fetch with their ball. Cars can be parked at the front door of the apartment. Our local shop and pub is Fox's of Tooman which is just 4 mins drive. Lough Rynn Castle is 5 min drive. Mohill and Drumlish town are 8 mins drive. We are located in the heart of the Irish countryside. Why not get your daily walk in and immerse yourself in local history right on our doorstep. As you walk you will see - Farnaught Lych Gate at the entrance to Farnaught cemetery, Farnaught Church of Ireland (a beautiful cut-stone building), historic ancient monastery site and Farnaught Lime Kiln (where lime for building mortar was produced back in the day, now completely restored ). Another option is to take a Kayaking Tour on Lough Rynn where your guide will give you some history of the area, you can sit on your kayak and listen to nature around you, leaving your thoughts on shore.
