The Rooms At Firecastle is set in Kildare's market square, overlooking St Brigid's Cathedral. The property offers an onsite bakery, an artisan grocery store and a take away breakfast and lunch served daily. Rooms feature ensuite bathrooms, free WiFi, flat-screen TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests can also book classes at the onsite cookery school. Located in the heart of the market square, and under the shadow of St Brigids Cathedrel in Kildare town, Firecastle offers a grocers, a delicatessen, a bakery, café, cookery school & 10 en suite guest bedrooms. A brand new build Firecastle opened in late August 2020. Firecastle offers a wide selection of artisan goods with a take away breakfast and lunch served daily. We have a beautiful outdoor seating area overlooking the market square for guests to enjoy. Firecastle Lane is less than a 10 minute walk to Kildare Village outlet shopping and 15 minutes from the Irish National Stud! The Curragh racecourse & Newbridge Silverware are less than a 10 minute drive away! Our sister venue the award wining Hartes of Kildare is located just next door where guests can enjoy a fabulous meal! Our cookery school, visible through a large glass window separating the shop and the kitchen will allow our guests sample life in a working kitchen and whether you are a beginner wanting to learn new skills or a confident cook looking for inspiration, our tutors will offer a wide range of full-day, half-day and evening courses for every level.
