Hughie’s Farm Cottage was built in the 1980’s and is set in the grounds of the old farm - the typical Donegal longhouse and barns are adjacent to the property. The kitchen, dinning room and living areas are all open plan with views across farmland to the breaking waves of the Atlantic Ocean.
A short walk away is the Doagh Famine Village attraction and coffee shop, which is also the access to the beach.
Nancy Barn in Ballyliffin is famous for its award winning chowder and well worth a visit, a long walk from the house (7KM) along the beautiful Pollan bay will take you there or a 5 minute drive.
For Golfers there is Ballyliffin Golf Club a 3 minute drive away.
Across the bay is Five Fingers Strand which has Europe's most impressive sand dunes as well as being a filming location for several films including Star Wars.
